Another Bi-Monthly challenge has arrived! This challenge Id like us to look at modularity. We discuss this topic quite often in the 3d art community so I think its good for us to have some targets to aim at and we can all focus on it together. Lets look at three examples and make them work for modularity. It is highly encouraged to share what your doing or what you want to do. Chances are someone knows how or can point you to a great resource.

This is a opportunity to ask questions on modularity even if your not participating in the community challenge.

It is important to receive feedback throughout the two month process. Remember we are all trying to grow as artists. Be sure to ask for any feedback. You will be better for it.

Think about all the parts that could make for a complete modular kit for all these themes. Corners that are convex and concave, gate entrance or doorways. there are lots of ways to expand on a modular kit. its mainly about what you need for it. The stone wall for example can have a corner thats two layers to match the same height as the rest of the kit. Modularity can be super fun!
